They just allowed access to blogs, twitter, and facebook on the government computers, so I am going to do a short update. It's been a while since I have been on since I would have to go to the MWR Computer room to update my blog.
The weather here hasn't been bad this winter. We had a few days of snow but it is back up to the 50s during the day and 30's at night. We are supposed to get some rain this week but the locals need it.
I have extended my contract to 2 years. So I will be here till may 2011. It's hard to believe that I have been in theater almost 9 months. If I were staying for only one year I would be 3 months away from coming home. As it is I will be home during June 2010, for a few weeks.
I have a schedule down here on the camp. The weeks seem to go by real quick. The days are long though -- 11 hours of work a day -- 5 am to 4 pm.
It is a good thing it hasn't snowed a lot in Washington, because it would be just Gayla shoveling it out.

That's good news that the goverment is allowing the bloggin/facebook, etc. Much easier to keep in touch with you that way. Plus, you can post pictures more often! Glas to hear you're doing well. It's hard to believe that it's almost been a year! Wow!
