An Earthquake Centered in the Hindu Kush Region of Afghanistan was felt in Pakistan and North India on Friday September 17.
The earthquake that registered 6.3 on the Richter scale was centered in Afghanistan but was felt in Pakistan and North India as well.
The United States Geological Survey reports that the earthquake was centered 265 km northeast of Kabul and 115 km northwest of Chitral, Pakistan. It struck at 11:51pm at the epicenter.
