I moved to my new house yesterday. It took most of the day. I slept there last night by myself. The guard was there out front in the guard shack so I felt somewhat secure -- even though he didn't have a gun yet. Ramesh stayed at the old house because our mattresses were hung up in customs. They are supposed to be delivered today.
There is still some work to do to get the house up to snuff. We went shopping for some tools, electrical equipment, water, cooking equipment and a bed/chairs for the guards.
I locked all the doors and closed the security gate and bolted all the doors. What's kind of funny is there is a secret room I could hide in behind one of my closets. We live in a compound with 10 foot concrete walls and concertina wire on top. The street is pretty secure because as you drive down the street there are guards ling the street guarding homes in the area. I think a lot of high ranking government officials live on the street.
