We had a thunderstorm last night that produced quarter sized hail. Stripped the leaves off the trees. Also, gave us some much needed moisture. It has now rained twice this week. Haven't had measurable rain around here for several months. I guess that means we are heading into Fall/Winter. We were in the upper 80s and lower 90s for a while. The temperature has now dropped to the 70s during the day and 50s at night. My kind of weather.
I went out to dinner last Thursday night. Wanted to get some Thai food but the restaurant was closed for 3 days. Went and got some Chinese food instead -- I had Cashew Chicken. It was real good. I hope to go out to dinner again this week -- it's the highlight of my week -- a change up from the DFAC food.
Other than that everything here is samo-samo. Oh yeah, today is Columbus Day -- all holidays are work days here, so you forget its a holiday sometimes.
