Trip from Hell -- Part II

Well the trip back to Afghanistan was also eventful. I left Spokane on the 6am flight to San Francisco, CA and arrived at 8:30am. Had to wait for the flight to Frankfurt, GE which was supposed to be at 2:40pm but was delayed an hour because of an electrical problem. Left at 3:40pm and flew to Frankfurt, GE all night long. Unfortunately I was on a flight with screaming babies again. Didn't get much sleep. Arrived at 11:30am the next day. Had to wait for my 7:30pm flight to Kabul. When Safi Airlines opened up they told us the flight was canceled and they had re-booked us on Emirates Airlines for a flight to Dubai, UAE. I was supposed to have a Business Class flight but was re-booked at Economy. The flight arrived at 6am (the time we should have arrived in Kabul). The flight to Kabul was scheduled to leave at 12 noon and arrive at 3:30pm. Was able to get Business class which makes all the difference in the world. When I arrived I had trouble at Immigration -- they confiscated my passport because I had a single entry Visa and they said my leaving was use of the Visa. I am still working to get my Passport back. Jet lag is still a problem. I was sick most of the time I was home plus got 3 fillings and a crown replaced. So all in all not a good R&R trip.
