Well I was told last night the guard would turn on the generator at 5am so that the pump would work and pump the water for the shower. However, I told him I get up at 4:30am and 5am is when I leave. So got up at 4:30am and the water didn't come out of the faucet. I quickly threw on some shorts and went to get the guard to turn the generator on. Unfortunately, that didn't solve the problem. When I left at 5am there was still no water. I am starting to get a little gamey after two days without a shower.
Water, Water, everywhere -- it's not needed. It goes for months without rain here, and when it does rain (as it has for the last 4 days) the new home where we live leaks in the basement (where my stuff is stored). I went down to the basement last night to retrieve some things from storage and was surprised when I walked on the carpet -- it was soaked. My housekepper had moved my stuff to a corner, but the water overtook that area too. Will need to move it to another room down there.
