At 7 am this morning I heard 2 explosions and went to the bunker. A few minutes later they gave us the all clear. See the attached news article:
Kabul, Aug 18: Just two days before the presidential elections, a rocket hit the presidential palace in Afghanistan's capital, Kabul on Tuesday, Aug 18. However, no on were hurt in the attack, say the police.
Two rockets were fired into the Afghan capital. While the first strike caused heavy damage to the presidential palace, the second strike was aimed at the main police headquarters near the palace.
