Kabul Military Branch

The Kabul Military Branch has around 61 members. We have no membership records here except one local Afghan member. We collect no tithing or Fast Offerings. We are totally supported financially by church headquarters. All but 10 of the branch members are men. Only about 2 or 3 women attend the weekly meetings. The average attendance is somewhere between 19 and 29 weekly. We have around 9 attend Family Home evening on Monday night. We meet on Fridays which is the muslim sabbath, and it is also our day off. Church meets from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. Sacramaent meeting is first. The second hour is for Sunday School/Priesthood/Relief Society. We all meet together for the second hour. Two Sundays the Sunday school teaches, one sunday the priesthood teaches and one sunday the relief society teaches.
